Gig contractors are engaged as independent contractors and not as employees of GIGlink or CHuGO. 3. How do I sign up as a hirer or gig contractor? To sign up, click on the Sign Up / Long In button at the header or visit www.giglink.asia and select the “Sign Up” option. Choose either “Hirer” or “Gig Contractor” and follow the prompts to complete the registration process. 4. Is there a fee for businesses to post shifts on GIGlink? No, GIGlink offers free shift postings for businesses. This allows you to list your available shifts without any additional cost. 5. How are hirers billed on GIGlink? Hirers receive an invoice on a weekly basis for the shifts completed by gig contractors. The invoice includes a summary of all shifts worked and the total payment due for that week. 6. How does GIGlink ensure quality and reliability in gig contractors? GIGlink maintains a robust review system where hirers and gig contractors can provide feedback on their experiences. This system helps uphold quality standards and encourages professional conduct across all engagements. 7. Who are these Gig ontractors? Our Gigers are only Singaporeans or Singapore PR above 18 years old.

Is GIGlink an employment agency? No, GIGlink is not an employment agency. It acts as a whooly web-based platform marketplace provider, facilitating the connection between businesses and gig contractors. Gig contractors are engaged as independent contractors and not as employees of GIGlink or CHuGO. 3. How do I sign up as a hirer or gig contractor? To sign up, click on the Sign up / Log In button at the header or visit www.giglink.asia and select the “Sign Up” option. Choose either “Hirer” or “Gig Contractor” and follow the prompts to complete the registration process. 4. What types of jobs are available on GIGlink? GIGlink offers various freelance opportunities, including roles in corporate, retail, events, logistics, and customer service. The types of jobs available depend on current postings from businesses. 5. How is payment handled for gig contractors? Payments are made based on the hourly rate agreed upon and posted by the hirer. GIGlink facilitates the payment process, and gig contractors receive their earnings after the completion of their shifts and confirmation from the hirer. 6. When do gig contractors get paid? Gig contractors are paid every Monday at 8 PM, provided their hours have been verified by the hirers. Once verification is complete, payments are processed and transferred to the contractors. 7. Are there any CPF contributions required for gig contractors? No, as gig contractors on GIGlink are classified as independent contractors, CPF contributions are not required from either the hirer or the contractor. Can gig contractors choose their own schedules? Yes, one of the core benefits of GIGlink is that gig contractors have the flexibility to choose their own shifts. Contractors can browse available shifts and book the ones that fit their availability. 9. What should I do if a hirer cancels a shift I booked? If a hirer cancels a shift, GIGlink will notify you as soon as possible. Depending on the platform’s policy, compensation for last-minute cancellations may vary. 10. What happens if a gig contractor misses a gig they booked? If a contractor misses a booked gig without prior notification or a valid reason, it may negatively impact their reliability rating on GIGlink. Repeated no-shows could result in suspension or removal from the platform. 11. What happens if a contractor needs to cancel a gig they booked? If a contractor needs to cancel a gig, they should do so as early as possible through the platform to avoid inconvenience to the hirer. Frequent cancellations may affect the contractor’s standing and eligibility for future shifts.
